This design project attempted to recon­nect an existing pent­house struc­ture to the apart­ment level below. The focus was on redesigning the spiral stair­case and top­ping it with a new a sky­light that would bring in nat­ural light to the lower levels.
A restricted palette of dark wood floors, black metals, and accents of tinted glass, were used to create a quiet atmos­phere and hark back to turn of the cen­tury indus­trial French design.
